There are things I like about this photo a lot and things I don't care for all that much--sometimes they're the same things. For example, I find the use of plastic, lit in this way to be visually fascinating. It definitely draws ones attention. And the way it's ripped makes it look almost like fire or ice. ON the other hand, the stretch marks in the top right portion distracts a little from the over all affect.

I'm also not sure I like the way the model is light. Visually, I think it would be more appealing if the red lighting went the whole length of the model's body, instead of being just the few small patch. Having one side backlight in red and the other backlight in blue could have been quite dramatic. But the limited effect isn't consistent enough to achieve that, and is almost more distracting.

Obviously, the problem with achieving that effect is that the blue covers all the sheets at the bottom and the red at the top, making it virtually impossible to achieve the look I suggested. But perhaps the colors could have been separated by sides instead of top to bottom.

Finally, I'm not sure I like the legs being in such dark shadows; and I wonder if it wouldn't have been better to crop them at the knees or give them a little more front lighting.

It's still an interesting and enjoyable work; and the model is easy enough to look that it would probably be almost impossible to go entirely wrong. But despite being pretty good, I mourn for what it could have been.
